Dosage
1 - 2 times daily (1 ml = 20 drops)
Horse 20 - 30 drops
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops
Shake well before use.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may be slightly delayed.
Once improvement is observed, a maintenance dosage can be applied. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.
With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. If there is a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build it up again.
Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane.
If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.
For horses, start administering the drops as early as possible in the season (February/March). Optionally, with a PUUR Detoxi course beforehand. PUUR Apis is perfectly combinable with PUUR Culico. If possible, give PUUR Culico in the morning and PUUR Apis in the evening.
For dogs and cats, PUUR Apis can be combined well with PUUR Derma Vital, PUUR Omega-3 Extra, or Doils Skin.
Interaction and contraindication
Always consult with the treating veterinarian when using during pregnancy and lactation. To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.
Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.
