Materials
- Plastic & Rubber — lightweight and gentle for sensitive horses
- Stainless Steel — strong, durable, and scientifically proven favorite with many horses
- Stainless Steel with Satin Sense — soft, smooth finish for extra comfort
- Sweet Iron — sweet taste that stimulates saliva production
- Cuprigan — alloy of copper, aluminum, iron, and zinc with a pleasant smell and taste
- Titanium — tasteless, lightweight, and adapts to mouth temperature
- Sweet Gold — sweet taste that helps the horse relax and accept contact
Cheekpieces and Action
- Snaffle (Loose Ring) — stable in the mouth, ideal for young horses and basic training
- D-Ring Snaffle — stable contact, encourages correct posture
- Loose Ring Snaffle — loose rings for advanced horses, choose 0.5 cm larger
- Full Cheek Snaffle — stable bit with pressure on the cheeks, pleasant for an unsteady hand and/or a young horse
- Baucher Bit — light leverage, protects sensitive corners of the mouth; permitted from Z1 dressage
- Beval Bit — soft and flexible, multiple rein positions possible
- Kimblehook — fixed ring with optional leverage, always with a chin strap
- Baby Pelham — stable for strong horses, can be used with one or two reins
- Weymouth and Bradoon — combination permitted from Z2 dressage, only for experienced riders
Mouthpieces
- Unbroken (straight bar) — even pressure distribution, stable and gentle for beginners
- Single-jointed — gentle on the tongue, pressure on the sides
- Double-jointed — more freedom of movement, more pressure on the tongue
