About us

Puur Paardenkracht Equestrian is the company of Margit Sas - Sundquest. The page title "About us" is therefore more of an "About me". Although I don't always work alone. Daughter Soleil also regularly helps out, and Ruud van den Berg also regularly works with me as a bit fitter.

I am an entrepreneur through and through! After selling my previous company a few years ago, I could start doing what makes me happy: working with and in horses!

I've been riding horses since childhood and have completed various training courses and programs in animal care and equine husbandry. An equestrian shop was therefore a logical choice for me! Especially in combination with the work as a bit fitter.

Besides my work, I like to dedicate myself to animals that are less fortunate and I write for the magazine Yellow Horse Revolution.

As an entrepreneur, I choose quality over growth. Being great in smallness, allowing us to truly deliver service!

For those who notice: we certainly don't normally ride in sneakers! However, this was a spontaneous ride on holiday.

At Puur Paardenkracht Equestrian, we understand how important it is to offer the best quality in combination with a competitive price! I therefore consciously choose the brands I work with.

Did you know that a large part of the products are first tested on horses by ourselves? I know what we sell and I stand for quality and knowledge. I don't aspire to be the biggest, but to deliver the best quality and service! If you have a question, you can easily reach me via the WhatsApp button on the website.

In our shop, you can leisurely browse the products and try them on while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. No pushy salespeople, but honest and sincere advice.

I am proud of the brands we carry in the shop, such as Horka, Fager, Winderen, BR, Premiere, Excellent Horse, HKM, Charles Owen, Kavalkade, Likit, and many others. Brands that I stand behind and that I, as well as friends and family, use for our horses!
