Fager Conny Loose Ring Sweet Iron;

A fine bit especially for horses that are very restless with their tongue and "fuss" with their mouth. The horizontal joints lie flat against the tongue and palate, making the pressure on the tongue softer than with vertical joints. This can be beneficial for horses that overreact when you take up the reins and where constant contact during every movement is important. It is also a good option for horses with a low palate.

Horizontal joints with tongue relief. Thanks to the horizontal joints and the mild taste, this bit encourages the horse to seek more contact with the bit and maintain constant contact without overreacting when you take up the reins.

This bit can also be tested during a bit fitting and/or bridle fitting; delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit.

Sweet Iron is a coating on top of a stainless steel bit. The goal is to conceal the metallic taste of stainless steel and create a pleasant, sweet taste, encouraging the horse to seek more contact and hold the bit. After use, sweet iron will begin to oxidize and turn brownish-gray. Sweet Iron is a good choice for horses that need to seek more contact with the bit.

Loose Ring;

Loose rings are attached to the mouthpiece, allowing the reins to have less contact with the mouth. Loose rings encourage a horse to maintain contact with the bit and provide a stable feel for both horse and rider.
