Fager Maria has everything you could want from a bit! It's incredibly comfortable, with 100% super-smooth surfaces, including the joints. Combined with the titanium material, this gives a consistent feel in the hand without the horse overreacting when you take up the reins, yet still provides a light feel.

Fager's smooth hinges are designed never to press against the sides of the palate or create uneven pressure on the bars. It softens the pressure on the tongue.

The slight tongue relief, combined with the smooth joints, makes this bit a good option for horses with sensitive tongues that may open their mouths, pull on the reins, and move their tongues.

The Fager Maria Titanium Snaffle Bit can also be tested during a bit fitting and/or bridle fitting; delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit.

Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the temperature of the mouth, leading to better bit acceptance and comfort for the horse. We usually recommend a titanium bit for horses with sensitive mouths that may react to other metals, for example, with red spots or sores, despite soft contact with the hands.

Titanium gives a super-light feel in the hand and a faster response compared to a heavier bit, especially when combined with the right mouthpiece for the individual horse.

Snaffle Bit;

Fixed rings are attached to the mouthpiece, reducing rein contact with the mouth. Fixed rings encourage a horse to maintain contact with the bit and provide a stable feel for both horse and rider.
