Winderen Full Cheek Bit Shanks

Winderen full cheek bit shanks are used in combination with one of the Winderen bits. The advantage of this is that you can switch between the various bits and mouthpieces depending on your horse's training.

An unfriendly name for a friendly bit that lies stably in the mouth. The full cheek is a bit with fixed rings, like the snaffle, and also supports horses that still have difficulty with vertical balance. Due to the cheeks (the bars), this bit puts more pressure on the horse's cheeks and is more comfortable for riders with unsteady hands or horses that still have difficulty turning and/or limiting.

It has rings attached to the mouthpiece with extended arms above and below the mouthpiece. This shape ensures a very stable position of the bit, preventing it from sliding sideways by applying pressure to the corners of the mouth and the cheeks. Extra pressure points make it easier to control horses that do not properly understand contact.

Recommended for these horses: young, difficulty turning, incorrect neck alignment, incorrect jaw alignment while riding, opening the mouth
Recommended for these riders: learners with unstable hands, riders who do not have much strength.

This bit can also be tested during a bit fit and/or bridle fit. Delivery time for new bits/shanks is approximately 5 working days.
