This high-quality BR dressage Weymouth bit Soft Contact 12 mm, with slight tongue relief and fixed shanks, is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel shanks.

The anatomical shape of the bit follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating soft and even pressure distribution. The combination of the shape and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates the chewing process and salivation, which can create a fine connection with the sensitive horse's mouth.

Due to its leverage action, this type of bit has a sharp effect on the mouth and is therefore only for very experienced riders! The mouthpiece has a thickness of 12 mm and the shanks have a length of 140 mm. Includes curb chain.

A Weymouth bit is always used in combination with a bridoon. The combination of the Weymouth and bridoon allows the rider to exert a very direct influence and more precisely determine the position of both the head and neck. Material composition: Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material gives a pleasant scent and taste.

Attachment of Weymouth and bridoon: In the upper part there are rings for attaching the cheek pieces and hooks for securing the curb chain. In the lower part there are rings for attaching the Weymouth reins. It works with great force on the lower jaw and neck.
