Laura is a lightweight, single-jointed titanium snaffle. The entire bit surface, including the hinge points, is 100% smooth, allowing for completely fluid movement and freedom of movement in the mouth.

This design is the ideal solution for sensitive horses that easily develop sores and cuts, as it protects the bars and oral mucosa.

The hinge points are specially designed never to interfere with or push against the palate, making Laura an extremely comfortable bit. The mouthpiece naturally conforms to the tongue, relieving the bars from constant pressure. Fager Laura Titanium baucher is the perfect solution for sensitive horses that quickly get wounds and cuts, as it protects the bars and oral mucosa due to the bit's suspension in the mouth.

The Fager Laura Titanium baucher can also be tested during a bit fitting and/or bridle fitting; delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit.

Laura is manufactured using Fager's Anoblast™ production technique, resulting in a high-quality and extremely durable bit; the highest quality titanium bit on the market! The grey color is a natural result of the production process; no additional dyes are used.

Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the mouth's temperature, which leads to better bit acceptance and a more comfortable feeling for the horse. We usually recommend a titanium bit for horses with sensitive mouths that may react to other metals, for example, red marks or sores, despite soft contact with the hands.

Titanium provides a super light feel in the hand and a quicker response compared to a heavier bit, especially when combined with the correct mouthpiece for the individual horse.

Baucher;

Also known as the hanging cheek bit, it is a snaffle with slight leverage which is very pleasant for horses and ponies with sensitive mouth corners or wear on the premolars (P2). The ideal solution for sensitive horses that quickly get wounds and cuts, as it protects the bars and oral mucosa due to the bit's suspension in the mouth. This cheekpiece is designed to keep the mouthpiece stable and provide a framed feeling. The cheekpieces are attached to the upper ring, while the reins are attached to the bit ring.

Please note: horses that are wide above the premolars/teeth may need a larger size due to the upper shanks. This is because the bridle's cheekpiece is attached to the bit's upper shanks, which are placed higher, where some horses are wider than others.
