Available in 2 different "hardnesses" of the plastic;

* Soft (light green) – especially for younger and/or sensitive horses who benefit from a soft feel in the mouth.
* Hard (dark green) – for horses who benefit from clearer communication.

  This mouthpiece is slightly thinner in the middle, making it softer on the tongue without excessive pressure on the bars or palate. The shape, combined with the soft material, makes this bit a suitable option for horses with sensitive bars and palate who may feel restless in the mouth and throw their heads up when you take the reins. This mouthpiece is suitable for a wide range of horses.

PLEASE NOTE! TPU material is more durable than most rubber bits, but it can still show traces of the teeth of horses that chew excessively on the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or the right to claim if the damage is caused by the horse biting it.

Fager Nicole Baucher plastic bit can also be tested during a bit fit and/or bridle fit, delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit in a number of variations.

Material
This bit is made of high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and combines the softness of rubber with the strength and durability required for daily riding. TPU is known for its exceptional flexibility, durability, and safe properties for horses, making it ideal for horses with sensitive mouths and horses that need more stable contact.

Baucher;

Also known as the hanging cheek bit, it is a D-ring bit with a slight leverage effect that is very pleasant for horses and ponies with sensitive corners of the mouth or wear on the premolars (P2). The ideal solution for sensitive horses that quickly develop sores and cuts, as it protects the bars and mouth flesh by suspending the bit in the mouth. This cheekpiece is designed to keep the mouthpiece stable and provide a framed feel. The cheekpieces are attached to the upper ring, while the reins are attached to the bit ring.

Please note: horses that are wide above the premolars/teeth may need a larger size due to the upper shanks. This is because the cheekpiece of the bridle is attached to the upper shanks of the bit, which are placed higher, where some horses are wider than others.
