Fager Sara Titanium loose ring snaffle
Fager Sara Titanium Baucher Bit:
An anatomically straight bit, designed with a specific pressure distribution for optimal horse comfort.
A bit with tongue relief is suitable for horses with a large, sensitive tongue that may open their mouth, pull on the reins, and play with their tongue.
- May be inconsistent in connection; it needs to be more "on the bit".
- Prefers stability and less movement.
- Needs to be stable, yet light in contact.
- Can open its mouth and pull on the reins.
- Chews frantically on the bit.
- Feels stiff in other standard straight bits.
Available in sizes: 105 mm / 115 mm / 125 mm / 135 mm / 145 mm
Sara's design offers the best shape a straight bit can have for a horse, following the natural contours of the horse's mouth. This unique shape, combined with titanium, gives the rider that extra 'wow' factor everyone desires!
The Fager Sara Titanium Baucher bit can also be tested during a bit fitting and/or bridle fitting; delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit.
Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the temperature of the mouth, leading to better bit acceptance and comfort for the horse. We usually recommend a titanium bit for horses with sensitive mouths who may react to other metals, for example with red spots or sores, despite soft contact with the hands.
Titanium provides a super-light feel in the hand and faster responsiveness compared to a heavier bit, especially when combined with the right mouthpiece for the individual horse.
Baucher bit;
Fixed rings are attached to the mouthpiece, reducing contact with the mouth from the reins. Fixed rings encourage a horse to maintain contact with the bit and provide a stable feel for both horse and rider.
