HKM Rope halter with lead rope
Groundwork, photo shoot, or a walk? This HKM rope halter is a real all-rounder! The HKM rope halter with lead rope has reins with a snap hook for easy attachment. The rope halter is available in pink, dark blue, and black in sizes Pony, Cob, and Full.
With a rope halter, it's very important that it fits well due to the thin ropes and the sensitive nerve pathways on the horse's head. See our advice:

– The knot is on the left. – The knots at the nose are two fingers below the cheekbones. – The halter should not rest on the nasal bone; it should be on the bridge of the nose. – The ring under the chin should hang approximately four fingers from the lower jaw. – The halter should be snug enough so it doesn't slip down. |
– Open the halter and place the headpiece over your horse's neck, behind the ears. – Place the noseband over the nose. – Thread the rope through the loop at the cheek (from inside to outside!). – Make a D-shape and pull the rope through behind it. – Tighten the knot towards the neck. – If the halter fits correctly, the rope from the eye should point towards the neck. |
