Phytonics podo comp 50ml

Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician or therapist:

Preventative:
Horse/Pony 7-10 drops twice daily

In acute situations:
Horse/Pony 10-15 drops 3 to 4 times daily

1 ml = 20 drops

Shake well before use.

If it is difficult to administer this product several times a day in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then slowly build it up again.

Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed through the clean oral mucosa.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Contraindication
Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.
