PUUR Trauma 50 ml

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by a physician or therapist, twice daily:
Horse 20 - 30 drops
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops

1 ml = 20 drops

Start as soon as possible after trauma and follow the dosage below

  • Give a dose 3 times with half an hour in between
  • Then 4 times with two hours in between a dose
  • And then 3-4 times a day a dose

Shake well before use

If it is practically difficult to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dose. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take slightly longer to appear.

Once improvement is observed, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can safely be given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dosage as improvement occurs, aiming for the lowest possible dosage.

Some animals may experience a temporary worsening or other severe reaction at the start of treatment. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually rebuild.

Administration

Administer this product directly into the mouth or muzzle with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane. If the animal does not like this product, the drops can be given on a small treat. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with some water or milk with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, but make sure the cat licks the drops off the paw.

Duration of treatment

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, continue administering this product for a few more days. In cases of chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian.
