Excellent Herbs Psyllium

Excellent Herbs Flea Seed (psyllium seed) is a supplementary feed for horses. It is often given as a sand cure; see the bottom of this page for how to check the amount of sand in the manure yourself.

Excellent Herbs Flea Seed is a palatable feed for horses and supports intestinal passage. It is a source of psyllium fibers and is especially for horses that eat or have eaten sand. Excellent Herbs Flea Seed (Psyllium Seed) can easily be administered with wet mash.

Feeding advice
Horse: 2 x 100 grams per day
Pony: 2 x 50 grams per day

Each package includes a measuring scoop of +/- 40 grams.

To be mixed with the daily feed for 6 consecutive days. Repeat monthly.
