Fager Andrea Baucher plastic

Available in 2 different “hardnesses” regarding the plastic;

* Soft (light green) – especially for younger and/or sensitive horses who benefit from a soft feel in the mouth.
* Hard (dark green) – for horses who benefit from clearer communication.

• The light tongue relief, combined with the soft material, makes this bit a suitable option for horses with a sensitive tongue, who may open their mouth, pull on the reins, and move their tongue freely.

PLEASE NOTE! TPU material is more durable than most rubber bits, but it can still show traces of the teeth of horses that chew excessively on the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or the right of complaint if the damage is caused by the horse biting it.

Fager Andrea Baucher plastic bit can also be tested during a bit fitting and/or bridle fitting, delivery time for a new bit is approximately 5 working days. It is also available as a test bit in a number of variants.

Material
This bit is made of high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and combines the softness of rubber with the strength and durability required for daily riding. TPU is known for its exceptional flexibility, durability, and safe properties for horses, making it ideal for horses with sensitive mouths and horses that need more stable contact.

Baucher;

Also known as the hanging cheek bit, it is a loose ring snaffle with light leverage which is very pleasant for horses and ponies with sensitive commissures or wear on the premolars (P2). The ideal solution for sensitive horses that quickly get wounds and cuts, as it protects the layers and oral tissue by suspending the bit in the mouth. This side piece is designed to keep the mouthpiece stable and provide a framed feeling. The cheek pieces are attached to the upper ring, while the reins are attached to the bit ring.

Note: horses that are wide above the premolars/teeth may need a larger size due to the upper shanks. This is because the bridle's side piece is attached to the bit's upper shanks, which are placed higher, where some horses are wider than others.
