Fager Kevin Loose Ring Snaffle

Kevin is a double-jointed stainless steel bit with a special lock-up function. The mouthpiece has tongue relief but locks upwards, which can be beneficial for horses with a low palate and sensitive bars who still prefer tongue relief.

The bit does not lock forward like a normal lock-up bit, which means you don't get the stiff feeling of a straight bit. The hinges are turned away from the tongue, providing softer, smoother pressure on the tongue. This can be good for horses that may overreact when you take up the reins and need to maintain consistent contact with every movement.
