Mattias is a double-jointed sweet iron bit with a special lockup function. The mouthpiece has a tongue relief but locks upwards, which can be beneficial for horses with low palates and sensitive bars who still prefer tongue relief. The bit does not lock forwards like a normal lockup bit, meaning you won't get the stiff feeling of a straight bit.

This type of bit lies stably in the mouth, is gentle on the horse, and provides support for steering.

Baby Fulmer is a registered design by Fager. This cheekpiece offers a mix between loose and fixed rings. The Fulmer cheeks lie close to the horse's side, aiding in steering and keeping the mouthpiece stable. The loose rings are placed further away from the corners of the mouth, which will apply pressure further down and inwards, encouraging the horse to lift forward, come back to your hand, and prevent a stiff feeling towards the bit. It's a very comfortable choice for many horses and a great start for a young horse. Baby Fulmer is FEI-approved, even for dressage.
