Phytonics Hypo Balance
Phytonics Hypo Balance 250 gram
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, twice daily:
Horse 1 scoop
Pony 1/2 scoop
1 scoop of 5 ml contains approximately 3 grams.
Dog > 25 kg half a teaspoon
Dog 10-25 kg a quarter teaspoon
Dog/cat < 10 kg a pinch
If it is difficult to administer this product several times a day in practice, once a day is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.
Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at the beginning. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.
Some animals may experience a temporary worsening or otherwise strong reaction at the start of treatment. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build up again.
Administration
Can be given over food. Moisten the food/powder (for dry food) so that it is not blown out of the feed bowl.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. In case of chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.
This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to have a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.
Interaction and contraindication
Always use in consultation with the treating veterinarian during pregnancy and lactation.
